The World Health Summit is to be held in Geneva, Switzerland on the 17th and 18th and Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has left the country to attend the conference.
Former Health Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva is the Chairman of the organization. He had left the country to attend the summit following an official invitation extended to him requesting his participation at the event.
While Minister de Silva’s term as the chair of the organization ends tomorrow (17), sources from the Health Ministry said Sri Lanka would receive the chair again in another 172 years.
